A BLESSED DAY


Me and my dad enjoyed a day of setting up tree stands, looking for deer and most importantly making memories. We went bird hunting this afternoon and I was able to watch my DAD shoot a beautiful Grouse. God has made so many wonderful things, I will never forget this day!!!

Birthday Surprise for My Brother!
This year for my brother's birthday, I sat and thought about what he is passionate about. What type of gift would really grip his soul.....Make him feel a connection we share as brothers....Well, I knew right away what he needed....So I took the head of the 6lb Walleye that I caught after filleting it out and put it in a FOODSAVER bag which pulls all the air out.....Froze it.....Put it in a box and mailed it to him.....Prior to sending it, I began a short propaganda campaign to get him into the surprise......I may have told him a lie and said the following clues:1: It's something we are both passionate about.2:It is related to Gander Mountain.3:Its something you really enjoy to do.4: Its worth about $300. Really? You might ask. If you saw the $ I've put into lures, gas, launch fees, poles, reels, a$$ kissing to the wife to go fishing-You would think it was easily worth $300 a piece for the three Walleye I've caught this year...Here SHE IS ALL PACKAGED UP AND READY TO GO! A fresh frozen of the HOG WALLEYE!LETS HOPE HE LIKES THE SURPRISE


Well I must say it was funny!!!!!!

I got home from work early to find the fishhead neatly wrapped In a priority package from the USPS. I wont forget it.

Well, Fall is officially here. Sorry I havent been around but I have been working alot again. Had a great time last weekend fishing the Cabelas Tournament. We did not do so well but had a really good time. Hunting is finally here and I cannot wait!!! God is good!

Fall is almost here. I Love the cool nights and changing leaves. God is amazing and shows it through nature!!

DAY 13

Today was spent enjoying a beautiful fall day with high temps in the 60's. A perfect day to cut firewood. I am thankful for the trees God created today!!!

DAY 12

Today I am thankful for the change in seasons. Today feels like fall up here, its cool and rainy. I can even be thankful for the long cold winter and Ice Fishing. Thanks GOD!!!! This is Glen Lake in march frozen over.

DAY 11

BIG SUPRISE

While working on an English Style home today we found a new friend.






This is for you Ang.... A BAT behind the shutters, a little while later we found another one. I keep my camera in the truck these days!! They were harmless and confused and soon flew away. It was strange to watch a bat fly during the day.









Today I am thankful for good health! THANKS GOD!

DAY 10

Today I am thankful for my Mother pictured below. Thanks for clean clothes, lunches, dinners and so much more!!!! I Love You MOM!!!!

DAY 9


Well today is a sad day for my brother and his family. The little dog you see being held by my brother a few months ago, was killed by a car last night. I can honestly say I teared up for Gene and his family. Pepper was a good little dog and he will be missed. My true sympathy Gene. Be thankful to God for the time you had him, all this stuff is on loan from God here on earth...........

I am Thankful today for Gene, Wendi, Chloe, Olivia, Alena, And Molly. You are all wonderful and dear to my heart.

DAY 8

On a sad note today Steve Irwin was killed by a stingray in Austrailia. I must say I always enjoyed his clean television programing and can only hope he trusted in Jesus.





Here is me reflecting on the day below and being thankful for so many things. God is awesome, thats all there is to it. Someday we will see him and I cannot wait!!!

Today was spent reflecting on God and what salvation truly is with my Dad as he visits. The way is very narrow. Thanks for the beautiful sunset God.

Very thankful for my cat. He has half a tale and is called Stubby. The first day I came to this house he showed up. He has lived here ever since abandoning the hard life on the nearby horsefarm. He was sent from God and is my buddy greeting me when I get home from work!
