FINALLY AN UPDATE
Well today I found myself getting ready for winter in this 55 degree weather. My front porch resembled a trailer park. More on that later.
During a recent wind storm this tree fell down in my backyard so I had to start up the saw and get busy.
All cut, next winters wood, or maybe for campfires. I just cant figure out what Im gonna do with all this wood If I dont burn it this wineter. Guess Ill have to bring it to GR.

The other big project was moving all that wood you remember seeing stacked behind my house this summer and getting it onto my nice dry porch for easy access this winter!

Man what a beautiful tree! I remember those in our yard growing up on Rockhill! I remember peeling the bark off like paper and dad getting mad! Now I understand and am sorry dad!
I was thinkin, perhaps you should throw some of that wood in your 4x4 and bring it down to your bro's house when you bring your boat! It would go great in my new fireplace!
